Yeah, I know they can be resoled but an EVA midsole and rubber outsole is just an infinitely more comfortable and intelligent design in my opinion. ... The fake stitching around the sole actually does a really good job of making these look like an expensive designer leather boot with stitched soles without the aforementioned issues of leather soles. ... So, the first thing I did was the first thing I do with all my leather footwear. ... It's designed to be applied to wet leather which helps it penetrate the pores of the leather. ... Lastly, once the leather dried with the Nikwax in it, I gave it a good coat of Kiwi neutral polish. ... The polish will give it a a nice shine but it also serves as a thin barrier for some scuff resistance. ... It also keeps the leather well preserved and supple to minimize wrinkling and cracking with wear and time. ...
