While I really can't say for sure if they are actually brass as advertised, they do seem plenty durable for their purpose and the glossy painted surface seems to have held up well with no sign of fading or chipping after thousands of shots. ... The coating isn't as perfectly smooth as some of the slightly more expensive and slightly more nicely machined releases, but they do look nice and right at home on top of my Fuji X-T2 camera. ...
